Got something on your chest that isn't worthy of a whole thead? Let it out here! (these are always a hit on other forums, and makes people feel better)


I'm 25 years old and having insane hot flashes. Dr. Google (yeah, yeah) tells me causes are epilepsy (no), ovarian cysts* (had them before), or Primary Ovarian Failure . I can't afford the $65 it'll take to walk in the doctor's office, to say nothing of the cost of tests and ultrasounds. I'd have to pay out of pocket, then send it in to my parents' insurance company. (I wonder if a clinic at a hospital would accept my insurance and run tests without me having to pay)


Meanwhile, I am going BATSHIT CRAZY because my temp jumps several degrees before bed and when I wake up in the morning.
