 We can make this the official AI Goss thread!I don't know about anyone else, but I thought the original song that one of the guys did where Mark said it was the best original song he'd heard in 5 years was rubbish. There was another girl on there (the one who was a bit "punk" with the chin length, curly hair) was the best. She has a really sweet, unique voice, but there's a powerhouse in there waiting to come out! |

Ooooh! I've been watching the auditions again this year. I really enjoy the show. Can't STAND Dancing with the Stars (mostly because of Daryl HAMMY HAM HAM Sommers - UGH), but I like me some Australian Idol. I think there is some good talent going through. . . but what's Dicko this year? He's being meaner than Kyle! Which, I mean, is saying a LOT. I don't have a favourite yet, though. =/ |

Last night was the first time I officially watched Australian Idol :mrgreen: . I only ever really watched American Idol last season when Taylor Hicks won. I almost auditioned once......chickened out....which was probably a good thing. Funny thing is, I don't really even like Idol...but I watch it anyway.......LOL. |

Why don't you have an antenna? That sucks! We had to get a digital set top box to get any channel other than SBS clearly which I was a bit peeved about. I don't know if it's because we live near the airport or Darwin just sucks for TV reception but there was no way I could live on SBS for the rest of my time in Darwin. haha |

I have enjoyed watching it most years. The year when Casey won was crap though. Are the auditions only on Sundays? I'mnot sure if Darwin is gettin' the show later or what, you never know. I only watched about 10 minutes of it the other day and got annoyed because they just kept saying stuff about this is what it's going to be like this year and showing 2 second clips of auditions. I will probably get more into it further into it. Who has been your favourite Aus Idol up to date? |

I thought the same thing - frozen or fresh :-) Oh geez, the animal people are bad..... I feel like we get kind ripped off - the bad auditions don't seem as bad here as they were in the states... |

You should get one, Angie! The aerial on our place is crap, so we got a really good RCA indoor "rabbit ear" antenna from Chandlers, plus a digital set top box and an FM booster... makes for great reception indeed.
