OK, so I am going for the "BIG" ultrasound this Thursday (Dec. 6th)! I thought it would be fun if I were to tell you all the facts up to this point with my pregnancy and then you could all begin the guessing game! I will post the u/s pic. and the answer to the BIG Question that afternoon/evening! So have fun and please be honest with me here!!! Here are the FACTS: 1.) I am 27 and fell pregnant in August. 2.) Pregnancy symptoms began to show up the end of week 2(Tiredness, Nausea, Hunger, Acne, Bloating) and I got my BIG FAT POSITIVE HCG test 12 days post ovulation. 3.) Nausea lasted until week 9 1/2 and then comes and goes since then. 4.) Ultrasound heart beat rate at 8 weeks was 172. 5.) This will be my third child (I have already 2 boys) 6.) Began wearing pregnancy clothing at week 11. 7.) The only stable cravings that I have are sweets, carbs., fruit, and then meals are day to day. I may like something one day and the next day hate it! Right now, I am LOVING Cherries!!! YUM YUM!!! I can't think of anything else(my brain isn't what it used to be!), but if you can think of anything else that I should include, please post here and I will check it out and add the info. if I have it :yaay: Good Luck everyone! :yaay: and of course :ta: for playing the game Sincerely, |

What was the heart rate of your boys? My mom has 15 kids (yes, you read the right) and the heart rate test was accurate on all but one. Over 150 - it's a girl. Under 150 - it's a boy. So - unless both your boys were high - I am gonna have to guess GIRL! |

Have you had any dreams about giving birth or post-birth yet? I had several during my pregnancy and the baby in the dreams was always a boy. And whaddya know, I had a boy.
Just remember sometimes ultrasounds are wrong.

I hope its a girl, but coming from me who has 3 girls, thought that the 3rd one was a boy because I felt so good through the pregnancy (ultrasound said otherwise), I would say you have a pretty good chance its a boy. My vote is boy (but secretly I'm hoping it is a girl...you need a little bit more estrogen in the house!). |

ahhh, me too, a really bad guesser, I was SURE Joe was going to be a girl, totally different-feeling pregnancy, fetal heartbeat was 170, etc. So, my guess is a boy, but I'm praying for a girl for you, she'd be totally gorgeous, like her mum! Your boys are SO cute, another one would be great, too! :lurve: Lisa in Perth |

You guys are sooooo cute with your comments
I am trying not to get excited at all, but as you can imagine, it is tough! My gut feeling though, is that it is a boy, I don't think my hubby has any girl vibes in him! LOL |

:headscratch: it takes "vibes?" :# Actually, I was kinda old-fashioned and didn't want to know, figured I'd be blessed if he/she was healthy... NOW, I'm very very HAPPY mine were boys. When I deal with my friends' teen-age daughters it's really scary. If I'd had a girl I'd have locked her up when she was about 9, and not let her out till she was about 25. :p |

I thought everyone would know what I meant by "vibes" ?!?!?!?!?!?! LOL
And as far as girls, I have heard the same thing, however, I was an only girl in my family, with 4 other brothers all younger than me, and I didn't turn out too bad at all. But, I am not going to even go there right now! I am going to keep my options open until The ultrasound proves boy or girl :p |

yeah, well, with 4 younger brothers you were probably reading books to them and then keeping them out of trouble, that's why God's giving you boys, you know how to deal with them! :goodonya: I was the youngest, and had to keep up with the older boys, some of them adopted and really-hurting foster-kids, I love them all, but, like peeing on an electric fence, it was quite an experience! |

I am the oldest of four, and my brother was smack in the middle of three girls! Two older sisters and one younger sister! Neal's brother had all boys now there is a crew that I'm glad I didn't have, their house is NOISEY!! Oh my goodness. I'm very glad with my three girls and I will eventually have 3 sons when they get married and I will not have had to raise them!
Here's to a healthy, and happy baby! |

I was wondering if your cravings were different from your other preg. cravings.... When I was pg with my daughter it was all about the fruit especially watermelon. With my son it was Red Meat and salty things.... I'll guess girl for you. Best of luck to you...The big ultrasound is so much fun.... ~Amy |
