Sorry Trix, I really wasn't trying to "snipe" at anyone at all! Thanks Squashy for the trips... hopefully I've given myself plenty of time. If not, I'm sure I'll have a great story to tell when I get back! |

We used a company called Travel Insured for our trip insurance on several overseas visits. On our last trip to Australia a few years back, Mandy got sick for a couple of days while we were visiting her sister in Sydney.
Because she'd moved to the US, she no longer had a valid Medicare card, so we made a claim on the travel insurance and saw a doctor at the local clinic. The company representative told us what we needed to provide and what they needed from the doctor for the claim. Then we filed the paperwork when we got back to the US. I defintely plan to use them again after such a positive experience. :goodonya: Brent |

Just found out through my workplace ( I work for an insurance broker ) that travel insurance does cover this. Just need to get a good company now. |

I think in a lot of people's cases, they have been there so many times that yeah - it becomes kind of dull. But for people who are just visiting, they really are must-see places. At any rate, natasha_alena, I hope you do have enough time to take in a few sights. If not... well, we'll be looking forward to the stories. |
