Is anyone here into geneaology? If so, this may be of interest:

I've really gotten into this site. It's a family tree creator that also functions like a social networking website allowing you to keep in touch with your rellies, send birthday greetings, etc. Best of all, you can edit the profiles of your ancestors (and any other relative who isn't on the site) at any time, entering the details that you know and letting others add on to it. Most of my immediate family is on the site and we've built a pretty big tree.

Anyway, just wanted to share.

Thanks for the suggestion Tors! I set this up, added just my parents, sister and BIL, and sent out invites to them. Went to bed, woke up in the morning to find they'd all added it and now we had over 100 branches on our tree! I just love it. Such a great idea!

I've been using this site, too. I think it is wonderful. My family is in to geneaology, but everyone has different research done. Having one place to put it all together was cool.

I had a similar experience to you, natasha. My dad accepted his invite 5 minutes after I sent it and within an hour, had added 130 something relatives, all the way back to 1450. He needs more hobbies.
Trouble is inevitable, but misery is not.
