Saw this site in a blog post:

Interesting concept. Has anyone here ever used their services?

Oohhh...no, but I'm going to now! I have a few things I need help with. I usually do everything on my own, but it's a bit difficult to hang a door by yourself. ;)

Thanks for that!

Oh my God, I totally need this!!!! The list of things in my apt that need fixed is increasing rapidly- and unfortunately none of them are things the landlord is responsible for. I just keep putting them off because I keep telling myself I can do it myself, I don't need a man- but alas, that is not completely true.

Does anyone take the slightest offense though to the name?! I realize I just admitted above that I really can't fix some things myself, but still- it implies that no woman can fix things and if you're single, you have to "hire a husband" to do it for you! I'm not trying to be dramatic, it doesn't really bother me, I just think it's an interesting point to ponder.

Naw. ;) I enjoy it. After I made an online "booking" for it, I went out and told Nick that he's fired!

Actually this IS a good idea. Not to hire or anything but I'll be looking for work when I get overseas and I enjoy the hands-on kinda work so I'm thinking this might be right up my alley.

I sure see their vans a lot here in Perth! Either there's quite a few of them or the same one is following me  They're at Bunnings a lot, buying stuff.
I think it's a fantastic idea :goodonya:
