Hello YDU'ers... The show I'm in "Buddy" is in Sydney until the 25th of April. I've just found out that ticketmaster has cheapo tickets. If any of you here are planning to go, you can get discounted tickets and (almost) choose your seat. I think tix are normally about $90.00 or so.... The discounted amount is $39.90. Hey kids! Mad Man is doing "Buddy" at Crown Casino in Melbourne until mid-August. Nick and I saw it last night and I very highly recommend it! It was such a fun show! The actors did such a great job with their characters, especially the guy that played Buddy Holly (and you, of course, Mad!). I was never much of a fan of Buddy Holly before, but I certainly left a fan! (I'm listening to his music as I type this!) Even though Buddy Holly's life comes to a tragic end, the show didn't! The ending was a high temp, rocking and incredibly fitting tribute to the life of this amazing performer. Just remember, being a mother is not a part time 'role' in a theatre. It's a lifetime commitment that requires very flexible thinking. From previous posts it's no secret that you've got a great desire for motherhood. From your veiled hints recently I'd say pregnancy and motherhood is high on your agenda at the moment. |

MUAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Oooooooooooooohhh no. I actually meant a theatre role. I got a call back for the part of Ugly's mother in "Honk!" - the musical adaptation of "The Ugly Duckling". I should be hearing back about it soon. I have a good feeling about it, but we'll see how it turns out. Pregnancy is (surprisingly) the last thing on my mind at this present time.
