I literally let out a shriek and scared Jason when I saw this!!! I don't suppose my pathetic email to them begging for them to come here helped They're just doing a shop in Sydney for now, I'm hoping for retail soon after whimpers

I wish there was one out in the bush...I have a hard time finding Asian, and Mexican ingredients.

Horsley near Wollongong I'm planning to move to... the states when I win the lotto.	How freaking awesome! Now if they could just spread out to Wollongong. The only good places I've found for ice cream locally are "Scoops" in Kiama and a place I can't remember the name of two or threes blocks down from Cold Rock in Wollongong, but way better than Cold Rock.

I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of a Peanut Butter Ice Cream flavour anywhere? I had a yarn with my in laws about peanut butter they ignored my question and reminisced about a Vegemite ice cream. I told them I would rather have a tooey's.

Melbourne	saw this and thought I'd comment...Ben and Jerry's has been doing free samples via ice cream truck - they were in Sydney last week and today in Melbourne at Alexandra Gardens...you can find out about their samples on Twitter (http://twitter.com/BenAndJerryOz) ...I've been following them online and so glad they are coming here because I don't really like any of the store-bought ice cream here except Conoisseur Edited by waitingwaiting, Oct 10 2009, 07:37:07 PM.

Pretty sure the samples are just pre-launch activity. I think they're going to do a national roll out and will be in WA eventually. Andrea, I usually use polenta in place of cornmeal, it works beautifully WA is rather like the ends of the earth for some things. Even in Perth the store hours are ludicrous! My father-in-law says WA is back in the fifties

My father-in-law says WA is back in the fifties I lived in Perth for awhile so I know how it can be...though there are some delightful places that I miss - haven't found a place in Melbourne to buy fish as nice as what they have at Kailis Bros, for example. The store hours there were killing me though. Latest on Ben and Jerry's is that they are in selected deli's from 31 Oct...(I should work for them, hey?) Thx for the polenta tip
