Hi, all!!! I did a quick search and didn't see anything on here about it, so just wanted to mention the Brand Republic store going in at DFO in Melbourne. I saw the sign when was there last week. It's a Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy Outlet. You can get put on their mailing list to hear more about it's opening: www.brand-republic.com.au I'm really hoping they have decent stuff because those are a few of my favorite stores from home... |

I saw this yesterday and was excited until I realised the sign said Coming Soon: Mid November - I'll sign-up for the mailing list, but does anyone know when its really due to open? |

I went to the store after work on Friday last week 29 Jan. It was open and only had GAP clothes/accessories for now. Their standard prices are RIDICULOUS but the sale prices made things, while still bad for an 'outlet' store, acceptable. Be wary of their return policy. My husband was able to pick up a few shirts and a pair of pants that he was happy with, but their wasn't a lot of selection. Still, it is nice to shop in normal US sizes and not 2 sizes up like I normally have to do here!! |

I know someone working for this company - They just get stock from US from GAP but its not actually a 'clearance' store, it just happens to be in an outlet mall. A GAP store did just open at Chadstone Mall Melbourne where you can get regular gap stuff which is newer than what brand republic gets, the outlet store just gets odds and ends sent from US. And Brand republic dont get Old Navy or Banana Republic stuff, but it could happen in the future. Oh and I think the return policy has changed, I know at the GAP store you can get a refund you just have 90 days to do it. |
