AND I LOVE IT. rawr!

They're showing it for two weeks free on Foxtel.. I'm refusing to watch because we can't afford the movie channels right now grumps So we'll rent the second season on dvd when it comes out Mum is really addicted to it, but not enough that she'll go get a job to pay for the movie tier..

Warilla, NSW	I had read all the books and started in on the series when it premiered on HBO. It was pure, decadent fun! I loved it so much that I passed my books on to friends, and got them hooked as well. One girl even got HBO just so she could watch True Blood. haha True Blood strays from the books a little as they took creative license, but they've done a good job with it. You are always left wanting more! Even the author Charlene Harris said she was actually excited because she didn't know what was going to happen next. I hope you all enjoy!!

If you are the kinda person who will pick apart the show because it strays from the books, you might want to just watch it and then read the books after. Also, the first series is just book 1, so GO FOR IT. Either way, I think you'll like it!

Yeah, it is just that HOT...it's not even the visuals - although the show is loaded with plenty of fine bodies in provocative poses - it is the tension, the steamy longing, the forbidden aching and (unlike those pussy Mormon vampires) the occasional surrender to savage animal impulses. Ooh - I am getting horny just thinking about it...thank goodness the in-laws leave tomorrow!
