I'm getting stuff together to pack and take to Perth and figured it would be a good idea to stock up on sunscreen in the States. My husband said someone told him about a product called Invisible Zinc, made in Australia. I looked it up on the web and it looks expensive. Has anyone used it? Is it worth the cost? Thanx, Tina |

yes i use invisible zinc for my face. i use the environmental skin protector which is spf 30+. i think i paid $24. i've read raves about it on mags and heard them plugging it as one of the best on morning shows when comparing sunscreens. goes on a bit thick/white but if you rub in completely it goes away. really like it thus far. i'm more picky about what i put on my face compared to my body, so i think it's worth the price. as for my body i haven't used any yet. i didn't buy the invisible zinc for the body as it is in a smaller tube compared to other sunscreens and was hesitant about the price for the amount, so i'm probably going to get a nivea one. as long as it has a good protection that is my main concern. not as worried about body sunscreen and a few different options would probably suffice. so in my opinion, the invisible zinc esp for the face is worth the price (good as a moisturizer, too). as for body sunscreen, that's up to you. and also if you want to lug around 2 different sunscreens. some people would rather just use 1 and be done. or something inexpensive and easy. completely depends on preference. i'm sure the states have some good ones. they also have nivea products and neutrogena.. i was looking at those also. i think here they range from $12-18 a bottle. i'd probably grab them in the states then if you have the room and weight available in your suitcase. |

Not sure bringing sunscreen with you is worth it. Based on an article from Choice (like US Consumer Reports) we started using Le Tan brand 30+ sunscreen. It is the best I've ever used. Goes on very easy, protects all day long, and doesn't go white. I was in direct sun from sun up to down this last weekend for the V8 supercar races and I didn't get burned at all. Great product. I wouldn't bother bringing sunscreen. The stuff they sell here at the cancer council shops is really good and reasonably priced. |

Thanks for the tip about the cancer council shops. I looked them up online-what a great public service. |
