I realize this is a bit ambitious for my first post on 'Yanks Down Under', but what the heck... For those college football fans out ther (in Sydney), I am in the process of reserving a portion of The Light Brigade Hotel (Paddington) to watch the game. They have a 103in Plasma TV! The game will air on Friday 8th Jan 2010 at 12 noon. Although I am a Texas fan (and Alumni), I open the invitation to all to come by for a friendly gathering. |

Ahh, if I would be able to watch Buckeyes/Oregon and Spartan/Texas Tech live then I definitely pop in. But thanks for the post. |

Thanks to everyone for coming out yesterday. Despite the outcome of the game, I had a fun time and hope you did as well. Here are some photos...for those interested. Also, the hotel was impressed with turnout and are very interested in hosting other U.S. sporting events (Superbowl, March Madness, etc...), possibly with some discount. |
