Hi - I'm migrating to Sydney soon, so have sold all my furniture. My favorite US stores are Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie, and Williams Sonoma. I also love vintage, antique stores...does any one know of any good stores such as this in Sydney? Thanks so much! |

I love those same stores and unfortunately, have not found stores exactly like those. You'll find that furniture and bedding is very expensive here if you go outside of the Ikea world. They do have stores like Villeroy and Boch and Laura Ashley here as well as Bed, Bath and Table. Those stores coupled with the major department stores (Meyer and David Jones), I've gotten everything I need to get by. Depending on what you're looking for, you may find it in a random boutique rather than a big chain. Where in Sydney are you moving to? Good luck! |

I was born and raised in North Shore, Western Suffolk County. My hubby is from Southern California. We still have our house on Long Island and are renting it out for the time being. When are you moving? Dee Why is nice - only been there once. We're currently in Mosman. It's a beautiful city! Are you coming out alone or with family/friends/partner?
