Hi everyone, I am coming back to Australia in three days and will be in Sydney for two days before flying back to Adelaide to start school again two days later. I always take that shuttle that costs around 12.00 from the airport to the hostel where I stay but have always taken the train to Adelaide (before) so didn't have to pay my way back to the airport. This time I do. Is there a set price shuttle service you can reccomend to me? Here in the US many cities have the 'Blue Van" I am not sure if the same exists for either Sydney or Adelaide. Sure I could take a taxi but these are so expensive ![]() I also need a means to get from the airport to my home in Adelaide too, if you have any suggestions. Thank You, Samantha |

Need to know where you're going to for most economical. For public transport check 131500.com.au. There is a train at the airport so if it goes where you are going it would probably be the cheapest option. Greg |

Doh! In my post I meant to specify options that would allow me not to lug around 60 kilos of luggage, but maybe I'll just toughen up and haul my stuff to central station and take the train back to the airport from there I'll be staying in the Sydney CBD...

i think there's a shuttle from the airport to the city in adelaide, but i dont know if thats just for tourists who are booked into accommodation, or if anyone can use it. there's also the J7 bus... http://timetables.adelaidemetro.com.au/ttsearch.php?action=search&searchtext=adelaide+airport&js=1 |

Honestly, for getting to Central, a Taxi will cost you less than the train. |

If there is a 12$ shuttle, that is the cheapest option you will find in Sydney. It costs $11 just to walk through the gate at the train station, plus your fare. |
