I just saw on tv that Big W is opening at midnight to start their toy sale!! I am so excited and will be there at midnight!! I loved black friday in the states!! anyone else going in the middle of night? |

Is this something associated with the EOFY? I saw a billboard for the Target toy sale. I'm guessing toys are really expensive here unless you get them on sale?

no its not really a eofy sale, it's just the biggest toy sale for christmas. you can put everything on layby on dec 24! toys are very expensive compared to the states, especially when you have 3 to buy for!! |

Unfortunately, yes. Big W, Krap Mart, and Toyworld are all having their toy sales this month... as staylor says, so you can theoretically put everything on laybuy for Christmas. It also works out really well for us because J's birthday is this month! |

Ohhh I get it. No wonder it's such a big deal! What a novel concept. But it would be better if the toys weren't so expensive to begin with.
