I used to be a NASCAR fan - loved the races, loved the drivers, etc. Then back in 2006, I became NASCAR obsessed when Marcos Ambrose made his debut in the NASCAR truck series. I followed Marcos in the V8 Supercars and was thrilled when he came over to North America. I also went to my first NASCAR race in person in 2006 and got even more hooked. I am also a Ford girl so I follow all of the Ford Racing drivers - Biffle (grew up near my old hometown in the US), Kenseth and the others. So this weekend is a big weekend - Marcos' chance at winning at Watkins Glen in both the Nationwide and Sprint cup races - I don't think any driver has ever done a sweep at a road course. Any other fans out there?  |

no, but my cousin is currently in the states doing the rounds of nascar and sprintcar races. i love watching the v8 supercars. |

I am going to go to bed early and get up at 2am to watch the Sprint cup race live... normally I'm not that dedicated but I'm hoping... well lets just leave it at that. |

Hello. I am a big NASCAR fan. Dale Jr is my fav. I started following Ambrose when he moved into the cup series as well. I have not been watching the races as much since I moved down under and I was just visiting my parents in California for a few weeks and was so busy I was hardly able to catch the races. My dad & I watched when we could though Its a shame Ambrose did not win it all this weekend. That would have been awesome!
