Anyone in the sydney area want to form a YDU Pub quiz team where we compete in a weekly pub quiz? They are usually during the week and start around 7-730 pm. ...OOPS posted in wrong topic..can someone move this please? thanks! Edited by redmoon, Aug 18 2010, 09:14:14 PM.

The Carlisle Castle Hotel in Newtown's backstreets has a quiz night; I'll check and see when it is. Come to think of it, so does the Marlborough Hotel. My schedule is pretty flexible. I don't really know of any quiz nights personally - if I suggested any it would just be based on what I can find searching the net. Newtown sounds like a fine meeting location to me. |

The Rose in Erskinville has a trivia night on Thurs: http://www.roseofaustralia.com.au/gall.php?gcat_no=106 I used to go quite often when I lived in Newtown! I would definitely be up for this- love trivia! During the week (mon- thurs) would be my pref , though I imagine most trivia nights would be those nights anyways. |

As long as it's near the train line I think my husband and I would be up for this. We live on the North shore and rely on public transport. |

looks like i can't make any of these in time. but if anyone wants to do trivia nights tuesdays at 7 in Parramatta at PJ Gallaghers, let me know! ---- or anyone that's free on Wednesdays I can do 7:30 at Club Swans @ kings cross.. anyone up for this tomorrow? Parramatta is too far out of my way. It would take me just over an hour to get home by public transport from Parramatta as I live in Hurstville. But, keep me posted if you decide on doing pub quiz nights at a more central location. Cheers. |
