Here is a really yummy recipe for anyone interested:

Chocodiles

Ingredients
1 1/2 C Flour
1 C Brown sugar, firmly packed
125 g (1/2 C) Butter, melted
40g extra Butter
2/3 C Peanut butter, divided into 2, 1/3 C (see method)
2 Eggs, lightly beaten
1, 200g Dark chocolate bar (or 3/4 C dark chocolate chips)
1/2 C Water

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180C (350F). Line a 26cmx16cm pyrex pan with baking paper, extending paper along sides for handles.
2. Sift flour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Whisk melted butter, 1/3 cup of the peanut butter and eggs in a separate large bowl. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mix well.
3. Press mixture into base of prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
4. Meanwhile, combine remaining 1/3 cup peanut butter, 40 g butter and water in a small sauce pan. Cook and stir over low heat until melted and combine. Stir in chocolate until melted and smooth.
5. Spread chocolate mixture over slice. Chill for 2 hours or until set. Cut into small pieces to serve.

Notes
* I usually double this recipe as it is a BIG hit with everyone.
* I don't measure my peanut butter to an exact amount and am a bit generous with it.
* With a doubled recipe I bake it in a large glass pyrex pan.

No worries Cathy H! They are really yummy!

Cynical Countess, where have you found peanut butter chips here other than on the USA food store?

This evening I have plans to make Hershey's Cocoa Best Brownies, although I wont be using Hershey's just that recipe that comes on the little brown can of goodness! My fiance and I were grocery shopping today and he got the idea in his head for brownies, he wanted to know if I have a good recipe! DO I!

I personally don't put the frosting on top--i think it's overkill, but I might smear some PB on it--mmm!

Mmmmm... I like peanut butter but I fear I might get salmonellosis. I also can't eat too much -- sometimes any -- peanut butter; I run the risk of what that should go down going up. :(

Sorry for the overshare.

Chocolate is also good but that which you purchase in supermarkets is cruddy, commercial, and saccharine.

Well HERE'S one that everybody MUST either love or knows they would hate and wouldn't care to make the recipe just to try it! This lady will never run out of these recipes, apparently. She's got me LMAO because it's cute that she's so obsessed that she keeps writing them! :rollin:

I've seen something similar enough. Just look in the cereal aisle, I suppose.
