Canning doesn't seem to be popular in Australia. I wonder why?

Piker
I have found jars in Woolworth's, The Reject Shop, and also in Spotlight. They are all pretty expensive except the ones at the Reject Shop, but the ones at Spotlight are more like we are used to with the seals and rings being separate. I am planning on buying a whole bunch when Spotlight runs their buy $100 in merchandise, get $40 off sale that they do every once in a while. Good luck.. Now if I could only find a farmer that sells the type of dill I need for my pickles..
