Hi everyone, I am searching for places like extended stay for our family when we arrive in Sydney. WOW, it is SO expensive. Any recommendations . We have narrowed our search down to the Hills area and the Sutherland and I was thinking of spending a week in each area to see what train would work best for hubby. His offices is in Northern Sydney. Thanks, Elize |

Temporary accomodation is typically expensive, no matter what state or suburb. I still suggest a serviced apartment to everyone I know though. Yes, the average cost is about $1000 per week, but with full kitchen available you can make up some of that on the food budget. And with a family your size, a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment is almost an absolute necessity. Quest in Castle Hill has what you're looking for (its where we stayed). Not really near rail though. Sounds like you want to be near Pennant Hills or Hornsby. Good luck! |
