I went into my local Reject shop today and on the end of the aisle to my amazement was Hersheys syrup.. ..Toast'em poptarts...Hershey bars...Kisses...Jiffy cake/frosting mix/muffins and different variety's... I stood there for a bit not quite sure if I was dreaming I started looking at all the packs ..yup they were from the USA..I couldn't believe it ..so I bought some..came home thought about it and went and bought some more.. The prices weren't bad $3 for the poptarts..$4 for the Hershey syrup..the girl behind the counter said they've had the poptarts before and she loved them..she said they go really quick..I'll have to go buy some more tomorrow..(if there's any left)..It's been over 9 yrs since I've eaten a poptart or Hershey syrup.. Wow..I still can't believe it..maybe soon I'll see graham crackers ..

The Reject Shop sales flyer came out and had a 'Made in the USA' section with all of those products listed. They're on special until the 144th or while supplies last. I'll have to try to get down to Southland. Damn 5pm closing times!!! |

I made it to my closest Reject Shop today. Heaven... pure heaven... I cleared out the last of the Reeses and am now wishing I had cleared out the last of the Hershey's cookies and cream bars as well. Managed to restrain myself and only bought 3 boxes of poptarts since I still have a small stash left from what my mom brought over at Easter. I should have brought the Hershey's syrup though... oh well I guess I'll be making a trip back there soon!

Just got back from visiting the Reject Shop in Brisbane Mall. Got some Hershey's Caramel Kisses, Chocolate Syrup and some Jiffy Devil's Food Cake Mix. Haven't tried any of them before so am quite excited to take them home tonight. On the way back to work, I walked past one of our local lolly shops that stock Americian sweets. Picked up some Raspberry Pop Tarts, Mrs Fields Peanut Butter & Chocolate cookies and a few packs of Pretzel M & M's... All in all a great shopping excursion

I watched a documentary the other night and it went inside the Hershy's plant and showed all of the candy being produced and told all about the history and everything, it was very cool! |
