By chance do you know of case officer (ER)? Think I read someone else's posts that ER is a she and that she was very helpful.
I have ER and she is a sweetheart as far as I'm concerned!!

Heard from case officer today. She's requested date of intended marriage, as original date has passed. Also requested a criminal record check from Australia,
I'm currently in Australia, visiting my fiance and his daughters.

Heard from case officer today. She's requested date of intended marriage, as original date has passed. Also requested a criminal record check from Australia, as I've been visiting Australia for a cumulative 486 days in the past ten years? Sending request off today for Victorian police check.

I'm currently in Australia, visiting my fiance and his daughters. Dreading when my 90 days on my ETA is up at the end of August. Hoping, with all hope, I'll have approval by then. Does anyone have any idea how long this additional information will prolong my approval? Or how long it takes to get a police report from the Victorian Government?
Cheers to all waiting, bloody hell this is trying.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure your case officer means an Australian Federal Police check (the equivalent of the FBI in Australia). Mine took about 2 weeks to process, granted that was back in 2009.

Couldn't figure out how to change original topic title, or would have used original time line post.

Thanks Kim, I filed in late May. I got my first email from my case officer today asking for some other documents. I'm VERY nervous now, I wasn't yesterday. :)
