Heard from case officer today. She's requested date of intended marriage, as original date has passed. Also requested a criminal record check from Australia, I'm currently in Australia, visiting my fiance and his daughters. Edited by kwells2b, Aug 11 2011, 12:30:46 PM.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure your case officer means an Australian Federal Police check (the equivalent of the FBI in Australia). Mine took about 2 weeks to process, granted that was back in 2009. Edited by NurseJules, Jul 27 2011, 12:34:50 PM.

Received an email from case officer stating visa ready for grant, need to depart Australia and it should take 2-3 business days! Took approximately 3.5 months (DIAC receiving and approving) Couldn't figure out how to change original topic title, or would have used original time line post. Thanks Kim, I filed in late May. I got my first email from my case officer today asking for some other documents. I'm VERY nervous now, I wasn't yesterday.
